We occupy the whole of the ground floor of Les Marmottes. There are three bedrooms, two shower rooms (both with wc), a large sitting-dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, the other has four bunk beds. So there is room for eight people. The red sofa in the sitting room can also be turned into a bed.

The apartment is mostly wood-panelled in the traditional style. Heating is provided by a traditional Swiss mazout and a wood-burning stove, both new in 2007.

Outside there is a private fenced and gated area for your exclusive use, where you can eat out in summer or build snowmen in winter. While we regard it as safe for our children, don’t forget that the railway line is nearby and the pedestrian crossing has no barriers.

We have UK Sky TV (standard free-to-air UK channels), a DVD player and a second TV with VCR in the smaller of the two double bedrooms. Plus board games and books galore. If you can keep your eyes open long enough to enjoy them, that is.

The apartment is self-catering of course. However, if you would like the option of having your main meals prepared, this is also possible. The charge for this is negotiated directly with the caterer. Details on request.
